Each month I will be recapping on what I’ve been up to the month before. So much happens in a short time space of time it is great to document it. Although this is a little late I thought I would start with February!
In February I uploaded some videos to You Tube! The first was a Valentine’s Makeover. I then entered a competition to win a scholarship to Marie Forleo’s B-School and my third video was a book review of The Fat Burn Revolution. It is a bit intimidating putting myself out there and it was also fun! I want to get better at my editing but that will come with practice. I plan to have some more videos in the future. You can subscribe to My YouTube channel to stay in the loop.
One of my day jobs is as Marketing Director at my family business Pennine Cycles. In January I went on a course to learn about the latest in Mavic wheels and pedals. There was about 50 people on the course and I was on the only girl! In February I received my certificate and I have already had some media coverage!
I am always changing my hair and as summer is coming I like to go lighter, my hairdresser suggested to have the ends ‘dipped’ so I now have lighter ends and darker on top. I like it! I forgot to take a picture in the salon so here it is at the end of the night! My only concern with my hair is when watching the oscars I thought it looks a bit like Jarred Leto’s! He looks good though 🙂
I had a great night out with a couple of my girls. We did a lot of dancing, drank wine and generally had a good time. It’s been a while since I went to a club, it’s great to go out with the girls and have fun. In fact I had so much fun I didn’t take any pictures!
Tour de France
I am a huge cycling fan and I am so excited that the Tour de France is coming to my home county of Yorkshire this year! At the bike shop we have lots of things planned and we were invited to showcase some of our bikes at a recent event. I will keep sharing some of what I do for the biggest free sporting event in the world! Here is Keil showcasing one of the bikes.
I have been reading and hearing a lot about coconut oil recently so I decided to give it a try. I have always known that when you heat olive oil it turns into more of the ‘bad’ fat but I didn’t have an alternative, until now. I have only used it a couple of times and it seems to cook fine, the only thing I struggle with is getting it out of the jar! It is solid and so if you have any tips let me know.
Having an Arbonne business has many perks, one being I can buy new products for business purposes! In February we released an eyebrow gel in the UK and of course I had to give it a try. This is not something I would typically use. I have tried it a few times and does what its job is, keeps my eyebrows in place. It also doesn’t make them look too wet and feels nice. You can check these out on my website.
So that was a quick recap of my February, it was lots of fun and there are lots exciting things ahead this summer!
What are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?
