It’s hard to believe May is coming to an end, it feels like I was only just writing my April favourites! Here are my favourites from the month of May including lipsticks, new bags, a new TV show and a camera!
This month I have been loving Arbonne’s Rose lipstick. I shared this photo on my Instagram with the Calla lipgloss which I also love! The thing with rose is it’s very versatile and you can wear it for a business meeting or add the gloss and you are good for a night out. I always love a nice pink!
Much like lipstick, when it comes to painting my nails I am often drawn to more pinky shades. This month however I’ve been enjoying blue. I’ve especially loved Nails Inc Sheraton Street. I had lots of compliments when I wore it too!
The TV Show
Towards the end of the month I discovered a new TV show called Wayward Pines. I watched the first three episodes in a row and I’m hooked already! I haven’t heard much about it but I am looking forward to seeing what happens!
I’ve been searching for a bag which will fit my laptop in for when I am going to meetings or heading out to work in a coffee shop. I finally found one from Warehouse which fits my laptop in it and still has room for other essentials like a notebook, purse and phone! I feel much more professional when I am out and about with this on my arm!
One Sunday when I was in on my own I spent some time in charge of the TV remote! I watched August: Osage County and loved it. It has an outstanding cast with Meryl Streep and Julie Roberts leading the way and the film itself stuck with me afterwards. It was the sort of film which made me not want to watch another straight after!
This month I also got a new DSLR camera. I went for the Canon 700D, so far I like it – I just need to work out how to take better photos as I am not a photographer! I’m sure with practice I will get better and better. With my new camera the photos on both this blog and my other projects will improve. It has a good video function for when I am making videos too!
