April was a very busy month mainly full of my travels in America. It was a fantastic month and I am grateful I was able to spend 3 weeks travelling in California and Nevada with Keil.
Getting Ready
At the end of March I was ill and so the beginning of April I focused on feeling better and getting ready for my trip. The first week was very busy getting business work organised, packing and doing some last minute shopping! Despite trying to be organised there’s always a few things which come up at the last minute!
Las Vegas
The frist stop on our American trip was a week in Las Vegas. This year we stayed at The Signature Suites which are part of the MGM Grand. There were quite a few of us there from my Arbonne team as towards the end of the week Arbonne’s Global Training Conference took place. The week was fun with some pool time, great food and once the conference started it was full of learning, motivation and some amazing new products!
Orange County
Next on the trip was a visit to stay with family in Southern California. After a busy week in Vegas it was nice to have a few days to relax. We borrowed a car and spent our days exploring, going to beach and visiting some of the beach towns along the coast. It was nice to have some downtime.
Los Angeles
We drove up to Los Angeles and stayed in Hollywood for 3 nights. We’ve driven through LA to go to Universal Studios and Santa Monica in the past but never spent any time there. It was the first time we’ve stayed in an Air BnB and it was a great experience. We were within walking distance of Hollywood Boulevard so we walked along the Walk of Fame, saw the Chinese Theatre and it was good on an evening with bars and restaurants. We also went on a tour of the Warner Brother Studio, visited Sunset Strip and tried our first vegan restaurant!

Santa Monica
Having only previously spent a few hours visiting Santa Monica on a previous roadtrip we decided to spend the night there to really explore it. We visited the famous pier where we ate lunch and in the evening we discovered the Third Street Promenade which has bars and restaurants.
Palm Springs
After a drive through the desert and swapping our car for a Mustang we arrived in Palm Springs. We had a couple of great meals in the evenings and spent time around the pool through the day. We also went up the Palm Springs Tramway which takes you really high up and has some incredible views!
Las Vegas
To end our trip we went back to Las Vegas as this is where we were flying home from. We had our last couple of nights in the Palazzo, despite some rain we had a good explore, enjoyed delicious food and had a dabble at roulette.
It was a wonderful, adventurous month and I will be sharing more detailed posts of what I got up to in the future (plus there will be a few vlogs). Be the first to find out by signing up to my newsletter!
