I am heading off on holiday soon and I wanted to share with you some things that I like to take in my bag for a long-haul flight. The bag which I have been using is pretty big but nicely fits in most airlines size guidelines. I like that I can fit lots in and it is black and shiny!

I have my travel bag for a few years and I can’t remember where it’s from. I only ever use it for travelling as it just does the job.

I love to read when I am away, it is a great time to catch up on reading as I have been slacking which I shared with you recently. The books I am taking with me are:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
A Tap On The Window by Linwood Barclay
Business Stripped Bare by Richard Branson
I have a good assortment of books which should keep me occupied whilst away!
The Essentials
I also always carry with my Arbonne bronzer, lipgloss and a mini mirror. I know I am not going to redo my make up as when I get to the hotel I will have a shower and freshen up. I carry these with me so I can make myself look slightly less bedraggled after a flight! I also carry a comb and hair clip to sort out my hair.
Other essentials in my carry on bag are my jewellery. As well as sunglasses so they don’t get squashed in my case, this year I am taking 3 pairs including my Salice sunglasses which you can get from Pennine Cycles.
I also make sure I have all my medication on my carry on in case my luggage gets lost at least my health will survive!

You’ve made me very jealous, I’ve not been on holiday for years! If I was going I would have to take my Kindle plus my new flip flops 🙂 Have fun!
Hopefully you will get to go sometime soon – Yes I think a Kindle would be handy for travelling 🙂
