A Yorkshire Walk & More Birthday Celebrations – Snippets from the Weekend
Last weekend was a busy weekend and it was lots of fun. I went for a beautiful Yorkshire walk and had some family birthday celebrations.

A Yorkshire Walk
Friday afternoon saw a beautiful walk starting at Cottingley Woods and finishing in Cullingworth. It’s one of my favourite Yorkshire walks and it was good to take advantage of the blue skies. To finish we had fish and chips, the perfect end to the day!
On Saturday the weather was very different with heavy rain which saw my plans cancelled – Due to lockdown restrictions, we can still only meet outdoors which wouldn’t have been much fun in the rain!
Birthday Celebrations
Sunday was my step-dad’s Paul birthday so it was time for more birthday celebrations. A few days earlier we went to the Ivy in Harrogate to celebrate my mum’s birthday which you can see here.
We went to 22 The Square at Crosshills in Yorkshire. They have a large marquee outside for outdoor seating and the food was amazing! Although they have a special Sunday lunch menu, we opted for the normal Italian menu and I can highly recommend it!
We finished the day eating cake, watching some cycling on TV and drinking fizz! What a great end to a lovely weekend.
