It’s coming to that time of year again, Valentines Day! If you’re not a fan then feel free to skip this post but if you love to celebrate or want to treat your significant loved one this year then I have come up with a few options for Valentines Day presents, treats and ideas.
Personally, I don’t go overboard with Valentines, we usually swap cards and will cook a nice meal or sometimes we will go out for food depending on our diaries. Like any “holiday” it’s important to do what you enjoy and not what you feel you should do just to post on Instagram!
If you want to do something this year then here are a few Valentines Day gift ideas to help you!
Chocolate
Tried and tested as the ultimate Valentines gift is chocolate. My favourite chocolate brand is The Slabb which is an independent business and always have an excellent selection of chocolates, especially for Valentines Day. They are a small business and I am always looking for an excuse to get some of their chocolate!
Perfume/Aftershave
Everyone likes to smell good and a nice idea for a gift is their favourite scent to wear on date night. For the perfect valentine scent for her try Bvlgari Goldea and for him Tom Ford Noir.
Travel Inspo
A trip away is a little bit more extravagant but it’s a nice way to make memories together. If a holiday isn’t in your budget for a Valentines Day gift then a Travel Print of your favourite destination together from my business Dreamers who Travel is the perfect alternative.

Jewellery
Jewels are another firm favourite and something which is hard to get wrong. For her check out Jack and Freda for their fun and colourful earrings. For him, Steel and Flinn have some great options when it comes to rings.
Love in a Mug
If they have a favourite sport then a mug from my business Voltage Sport makes a fun gift and you could pair it with their favourite hot drink such as a hot chocolate or even add on the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser to make the perfect hot chocolate.
There are so many different things you can do for your Valentine alongside these 5 ideas, you could send some flowers or a gift voucher for a massage. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to love each other and do whatever makes you happy whether that’s to blow your budget and really treat them or to keep it simple and do what feels best for you both.
Whatever you decide, remember to book, purchase and plan in advance because businesses get busy around Valentines Day.
