We had a full day in Hull where, despite the weather, we are able to explore for the day. We had some great food and drinks as we sheltered from the rain!
I filmed the day as part of my Day in the Life series.
Spending the day in Hull
The day began with a walk in the morning before we went for lunch at The Anti Saute Saute Club. It’s based in a traditional pub but the burgers are anything but traditional, with cool names around music. The burgers tasted so good!
We sheltered from the rain at the Humber Street Distillery. Where I tried one of their own made gins. Humber Street is full of independent shops and restaurants and leads to the marina. With a break in the weather, we took the opportunity to visit the marina area.
We booked an early dinner at Ambiente Tapas which is also on Humber Street and we had some wonderful tapas.
Our day ended with cocktails at The Lexington which is a rooftop bar at the top of the Doubletree which is where we were staying. This was handy to go back to the room after a couple of tasty cocktails – I would highly recommend the Cosmopolitan!
