It’s hard to believe Christmas is almost here. If, like me, you always leave your shopping until the last minute here is my Christmas Gift Guide which may help you. These suggestions are things I currently like or would love to receive!
The Sleeper
PJ’s are a great gift for almost anyone I think! They can be fun, cute or fancy depending on the individual you are buying for. I like nice cosy ones like these from M&S.
The Writer
If you’re buying for a business owner, blogger or stationary lover (I am all 3), then some lovely stationary is always nice. I love to visit Paperchase every time I go shopping and browse the notebooks. This is a nice Christmas gift which can be used all year too.
The Lounger
For someone like me who works from home you don’t always want to get ‘dressed up’ but don’t want to sit in your pyjamas all day either. Loungewear is good as it looks nice if you have to answer the door and is comfy for a day working on the laptop. There’s not too much difference between these and PJ’s but if like these Dorothy Perkins pants they say loungewear it’s more acceptable!
The Beauty One
In almost all of my favourites this year I have featured a different shade of Arbonne’s lipsticks. These make a great stocking filler for any beauty lover and there is a great choice of shades for everyone. I’m currently alternating between currant and iris.
The Bag Lover
If someone loves handbags then adding more to their collection is a good gift idea! I am not obsessed with handbags, although I do own too many and there are so many different types. I like this one as an all-round good bag.
The TV Addict
TV box sets are certainly more popular than ever. Ones I would recommend are Homeland, The Affair and House of Cards or for a comedy I like The Big Bang Theory or Friends (an oldy but a classic which still makes me laugh).
The Reader
I love a good book and there are so many to chose from depending on genre and what the person you are buying for likes. One of my favourite authors is William Boyd and most of his books are a great read. I also love to read self-development books and this year I especially loved You Are a Bad Ass which is great to motivate anyone in 2016!
The Magpie
Jewellery makes a great gift for almost anyone and I especially love gold things at the moment! These earrings or some stacking rings which can be mixed and matched are a really nice gift which can be worn throughout the year.
The Homey Girl
Candles and home fragrance make a great gift. There are so many scents out there and at this time of year companies like Yankee Candle have festive scents which smell good. I really like fig based items and love the Fresh Fig range from The White Company.
The Fussy One
If you’re still not sure I would recommend a voucher for their favourite shop! This way they can buy exactly what they want. I like vouchers for clothes shops so I can go and treat myself at a later date.
I hope this gift guide has given you a few more ideas this Christmas time – Happy shopping!
