Pink Valentine’s Day Nails

Although I’m not a big Valentine’s Day celebrator I do like the idea of adding a little bit of pink in my life to recognise it!  Last year for Valentine’s Day I shared a pink inspired make-up look and this year it’s all about the nails!

Pink is the colour of love and whether you plan on celebrating or not, who can’t resist a hint of pink in their life?!  After the nudes of January it’s time to add some colour to your nails.  I have a large Nails Inc collection which I am working my way through (this is mainly through winning a competition where they sent me loads!).  I decided to give three different pinks a go.

The first South Milton Street (not pictured) was too pale for the look I was after.  However if you want a very, very pale pink then this would be perfect.

Next I chose Brompton Place.  This is a much more vibrant pink which I love.  I put this on my toes to begin with and decided it’s a little bit more summary than I was searching for in February.  I can’t wait to wear this on my fingers in the summer months as it will look even better with a tan!

Finally I picked out Warwick Avenue which is the perfect pink for Valentine’s!  It is just the shade I had in mind when I decided on a pink theme for V-Day.  It really is just in between the other two shades I tried first.

So there you have it, my perfect pink for Valentine’s Day!

On the day itself I don’t have any plans but I might enjoy a cheeky glass of pink cava in the evening – I told you I do love pink things!
