What an Awesome April

April went by so fast for me so here is a recap of just some of April, from Emmerdale to vlogging to Las Vegas and Dorothy Perkins.

#SSSVEDA

I vlogged everyday!  I am so pleased that I was able to stay commited and completed the #SSSVEDA challenge.  This was organised by Amy at Savvy Sexy Social and I vlogged everyday in April.  It is always so important to step outside your comfort zone.  In the first videos I felt uncomfortable in front of the camera but by the end I was even vlogging in Leeds city centre!  It just shows what you can do with practice and consistancy.  If you missed the vlogs you can catch the playlist here.  I will be keeping up with vlogging over on YouTube and creating other videos so you can subscribe to my channel to keep up to date.

Emmerdale

I was fortunate to be invited to the outdoor TV set of Emmerdale, an ITV soap opera.  Although I am not an avid viewer it was great to see what happens on a TV set.  This is purpose built for all of the outdoor scenes.  I was even invited to do a walking part where I came out of the cafe!  I put a video together from the day which you can see at Pennine Cycles.

Summer Shopping

As I am heading to Vegas in early May I did a lot of shopping in April!  I got some great dresses from Dorothy Perkins.  As it is for a business conference I needed some smart clothes but also some casual day time looks as the weather will be hot!

Hair Time

I got my hair done ready for Vegas.  Last time I got it dipped dyed so this time it was just a root touch up and a trim.  In the sun the ends should go lighter so we will see what happens!

Las Vegas

I was pleased to have a guest blog from Keil Nelson – on my current favourite topic Las Vegas!  This is a theme running through April and I am sure most of May as well!  It is great that Keil shared what he loves about Sin City and he will also be sharing some more blogs very soon.

My April was another fun and busy month with some unexpected things such as the trip to Emmerdale!
