2016 is here already. I love new years as they are like a blank canvas with endless possibilities and a great time to create new goals. I prefer to set goals over resolutions as I believe I am more likely to stick to them!
For the last week I haven’t been feeling 100% which isn’t the best way to start the new year but it has given me more time to think about some of the goals and things which I want to achieve over the next 12 months. I thought by sharing them it will make them more likely to happen!
My Goals
Eat at least 5 fruits and veggies – I think because I haven’t been feeling well it’s a good reminder about how important your health is. It’s something we rely on and at times take for granted. I am often not the best at eating my five-a-day so I’m going to make this a focus so it becomes a natural habit. Sometimes going back to basics is the best thing.
Workout 4-5 times – I go through stages of working out, sometimes I’m fully motivated and push myself and other times I lose motivation. For me, I know if I’m consistant I start to notice changes to my body. As a qualified personal trainer I know what to do I just need to do it. I think having Voltage Sport will also help not only motivate other people but also myself.
Keep A Gratitide Diary – My early mornings have slipped a little bit over Christmas and also not being well but I want to make sure I continue to keep track of all the things I am grateful for. It really helps with a positive mindset.
Daily Actions – I have a few businesses and projects happening and at times it can be challenging to juggle everything. This year I want to become more organised and make sure I do small daily actions on each of my projects so I am always moving forward to where I want to be.
Be More Organised – As mentioned above. This is a really hard goal for me but it is something I know I must do to achieve many of my big goals, especially when it comes to business.
Travel – I love to travel and already I have a 3 week trip to America planned this year. I’d also like to take more city breaks and visit new places. My top places I’d like to visit are New York, Rome and Berlin.
Those are the things I can think of right now and I know if I achieve them I will have a very happy 2016.
